Reflection on Teaching
On this page, I share my journey as an educator and role model to my students. These reflections will show my abillity to evaluate my instruction honestly, identify successes and challanges, and make thoughtful changes that improve student learning and classroom experiences. Reflections help me refine planning, adjust instructional strategies, and strengthen my classroom culture.
Reflection Key Aspects
My reflections from my teaching focuses on key aspects such as student engagement, ways to support student learning, finding evidence to find outcomes for each lesson, and using data to improve future lessons. After each lesson, I evaluate what worked well and what needs adjustment by considering student engagement, time management, and the effectiveness of my instructional strategies. I use the self-regulated learning theory to assess my lesson plans, focus on goal-setting, monitoring, and reflection processes.
Personal Growth & Classroom Management
I view classroom management as an ongoing area of personal growth that evolves with each teaching experience. I continuously refine my routines, signals, and expectations to create a learning environment that is structured, predictable, and supportive. Building strong relationships with my students so classroom management is rooted in trust rather than compliance. I model calm, respectful communication to help students regulate their emotions and respond appropriately to challenges. Through ongoing learning, reflection, and practice, I continue to develop a classroom management style that is fair and grounded in care!
